The naming of Newport ONE (originally Newport Creative) clarified its role as a premier, full-service agency for nonprofits. While long offering diverse services across sectors, many clients overlooked its full capabilities. the new name strengthens it’s position as the go-to-partner for comprehensive, results-driven solutions.
The Challenge
Newport ONE, a leading direct response agency for nonprofits, sought to position itself as a one-stop resource for clients.
Before redefining the brand, we conducted in-depth interviews with Newport ONE’s leadership, strategists, analysts, and client-facing teams.
Their insights revealed a gap between what the firm had—a strong, highly experienced fundraising team—and what the brand communicated. They needed a name and identity that clearly expressed their unified, partnership-driven approach and the measurable impact they deliver.
The challenge was to articulate both what the team wanted—a modern, confident brand—and what they truly needed: clarity, cohesion, and a message that captured the essence of their work.
The Solution
Grounded in insights from our stakeholder interviews, we created “Newport ONE“—a name and identity that elevates the firm’s belief in unified, strategic partnership.
The identity system incorporates clean geometry, modern typography, and uplifting illustration to balance analytical rigor with human warmth. A bold turquoise palette and clear typographic hierarchy support a confident, consistent brand presence across print, digital, and client communications.
The tagline “One can make the difference” reinforced both the new name and the firm’s impact-driven philosophy.
We then rebuilt the website from the ground up, transforming it into a clean, modern, and engaging digital experience. Clear messaging, bold typographic illustrations, and intuitive navigation helped articulate exactly what Newport ONE does—and why they’re different—to prospective clients.
At the same time, the site was designed to support recruitment, showcasing the firm’s culture, values, and collaborative approach to attracting top fundraising talent.





Futura Medium was chosen for its clean geometry and strong legibility, reflecting Newport ONE’s disciplined, analytical approach to fundraising.
A fresh palette—turquoise, white, deep charcoal—creates a modern and uplifting tone that aligns with mission-driven work.
We partnered with illustrator Christine Beauregard to create a series of ads, each highlighting a key client type with playful, imaginative visuals.
This added human warmth and emotional resonance, supporting stories of impact and the lives changed through effective fundraising.
The website combined clear messaging with bold graphics, showcasing Newport ONE’s services, expertise, and sector relationships in an accessible format.
